The process
How it works from first message to keys
Shared housing usually falls down somewhere between the ad and the move-in. Here is exactly what happens with us — and what you're paying for each week.
01
Send an enquiry
Two minutes on the contact form. Tell us the area, your timing and roughly what you can spend. If a room suits, we come back to you the next business day.
02
A real conversation
A short call with the house manager: what you do, what you're after, how long you're staying. We'll be honest about whether the house is the right fit.
03
See the room
In person where possible, otherwise a video walk-through. You'll see the room, the shared spaces and the people who happen to be home.
04
Application & references
Photo ID, proof of income or enrolment, and one or two references. We usually decide within one to two business days.
05
Move in
Sign a simple rooming agreement, pay the first week and the bond, and collect your keys. The room is furnished and ready.
One payment, everything in.

Simple rules, quietly enforced.
Quiet after 10pm
Homes are shared with people who work, study and get up early.
Shared spaces stay shared
Dishes done, benches clean, nothing left in the bathroom for days.
Guests are welcome
With a heads-up to the house, and not for weeks at a time.
No smoking inside
Includes vaping. Courtyards where the property has one are fine.
Two weeks' notice
When you're ready to move on, after the minimum three-month stay.
